Municipal Campaign Schools 2022
We are offering 4 campaign schools this summer ahead of Municipal Elections.
The Coalition has partnered with the Federation of PEI Municipalities to offer campaign schools to women this summer ahead of the 2022 Municipal Elections.

The PEI Coalition for Women in Government has partnered with the Federation of PEI Municipalities to offer Municipal Campaign Schools to Women ahead of the 2022 Municipal Elections.
In-person campaign schools will be half-day workshops held from 9am to 12pm. Here are the dates, times and registration links:
- July 9: Charlottetown at the Haviland Club. Register here.
- July 16: Summerside at the Credit Union Place. Register here.
- August 20: Three Rivers at the Kings Playhouse. Register here.
During our 3-hour in-person workshops, we will cover: how to prepare yourself as a candidate and create a platform, how to build a campaign team, campaign financing and fundraising, as well as communications essentials. We will also be providing mileage reimbursement, childcare reimbursement and on-side childcare for any woman requiring assistance to attend. Details will follow after registration.
Our virtual campaign school will be comprised of three 2-hour sessions covering various topics:
- August 2: Preparing for Candidacy
- August 3: Campaigning Foundations
- August 4: Communications Essentials
Register here for one or more of our virtual sessions. We will also be providing internet usage reimbursement and childcare reimbursement for any woman requiring assistance to attend. Details will follow after registration.
